Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed Ben White is in contention to return for the team’s clash with Leicester City next weekend.

White has not played for Arsenal since the 1-1 draw at Chelsea on November 10 after undergoing surgery on a persistent knee injury.

Arteta has provided an update on his team’s ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี readiness ahead of Wednesday’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at Newcastle, with Ben White still out but close to returning.

“There’s no (injury) news from the City game, Ben is still out, I hope he’ll be available after the break, Saka is not back yet,” Arteta said.

Quizzed on the full-back, Arteta revealed “Ben is still out. Hopefully after the break he will be available.”

After their Carabao Cup second leg against Newcastle United, Arsenal have a 10 day period without a game as the FA Cup fourth round takes place, and White’s return after that will be a welcome boost to Arteta’s squad.

Meanwhile, the Gunners boss also touched on the “disappointment” of the January window, in which Arsenal tried and failed to land a new forward.

“We had a clear intention… we have not achieved it. We are disappoint in that sense. But we are very aware that we only want to bring certain kinds of players. We have to be very discipline with that and we were.”

After the game against Newcastle on Wednesday, Arsenal will have a 10-day break because this weekend is the FA Cup, which the team was eliminate from, and will return to the field again in the Premier League game away to Leicester City on Saturday, February 15, where Ben White has a chance to return.
